• San Antonio Marketing Internship

    Pear Analytics seeks a San Antonio marketing intern for Summer 2014. Gain hands-on experience with client internet marketing campaigns, learn real world marketing skills and prepare yourself for a competitive job market.

    Under the direction and supervision of the Pear Analytics team, the student will:

    1. Be involved in developing internet marketing campaign strategies for companies in a wide range of industries
    2. Gain hands-on experience with optimizing websites for organic search results
    3. Enhance your writing skills and build a basic understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
    4. Learn how to create and maintain Google AdWords campaigns (PPC)
    5. Learn how to evaluate the performance of an internet marketing campaign



    • Have great problem solving skills and initiative
    • Be a professional, punctual self-starter and be able to work alone and as part of a team
    • Be a junior, senior or recent graduate in Business, Marketing, or other related field
    • Have excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Display enthusiasm and ability in the field of marketing
    • Have a working knowledge of marketing concepts
    • Experience with WordPress and html is preferred

    This is 10 week internship requiring 20 hours/week. Flexible schedule.

    Internet Marketing Analyst
    The Internet Marketing Analyst is responsible for assisting client campaign managers in all aspects of our clients’ internet marketing campaigns.  Training will be provided on skills including optimizing websites for organic search, creating and managing Google AdWords campaigns, developing campaign landing pages, performing keyword research, and evaluating campaign performance.


    • Prepare data for campaign monthly performance reports
    • Implement on-page optimizations for client sites
    • Assist with new campaign on-boarding
    • Create and optimize social media profiles for clients
    • Build landing pages for client campaigns
    • Provide input for client campaign strategies
    • Utilize Google Analytics to investigate client site performance
    • Collaborate with subject-matter-experts in SEO, PPC, and other tactical areas

    Required Skills:

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in marketing, advertising, or related field
    • Good communication and client relations skills
    • Initiative and strong problem solving skills
    • 1-2 years of experience in marketing, advertising, or related discipline preferred
    • Experience with WordPress and html is preferred
    • Experience with Google Analytics or AdWords is a plus
